About Morganification

Hello and welcome to Morganification.I'm so excited to share my newly designed and freshly curated website with you. I've been at this blogging thing for about 3 years now and while consistency has proven difficult, I can proudly say that I am more invested than ever in bringing you great content.When I first started this blog as Pointe Shoes and Prada in 2015, my primary reason for creating a website was to share my love of fashion with friends and family. With this same intent in mind, I'm relaunching this new and improved website to share and reflect on my thoughts and discoveries about fashion, beauty and life while living and studying at university in New York City. I'm also thrilled to feature some new voices on this website. My contributors are all friends of mine whom I believe will provide new perspectives and unique ideas to Morganification. Now, little bit about me:I was born and raised in Upstate New York and have had an interest in fashion for as long as I can remember. My mother introduced me to the world of fashion through her own personal style and remains my biggest style inspiration to this day. One of her biggest principles when it comes to fashion is to invest in statement pieces and to never pay full price for basics. This principle has shaped my sense of style and built my wardrobe into an eclectic mix of high and low-end pieces. I think it's really important to know (especially in the era of the Kardashians/Jenners) that price tags have nothing to do with having great style. Style is about working with what you've got to create outfits that speak to your personality.With Morganifiation, I want to give you a glimpse into my life as a student, dancer and young woman living in New York City. I truly believe there's a little something on Morganification for everybody: whether you're looking for music recommendations, articles that keep you informed, beauty product reviews, or style inspiration, Morganification's got you covered.Feel free to email me with questions or requests.
